Books of 2012

Here is my list of books from 2012. (I’ve organized them in the order they are pictured above.) If you’ve read quotes from my Facebook page or Twitter account and wondered about their fuller context, the odds are they’re from these books. There are a few I haven’t completely finished, but for the most part, I have read them all. Some are more academic than others; some more poetic than others; some more practical than others. All in all, they have shaped my malleable imagination pushing me further into contemplating the work of God in the world at large and how to join in on this work.

I pray you find some of these helpful in learning to love God and others in creative, Spirit-filled ways.

What have you read? What do I need to pick up for 2013?
