“Sorry maam, I killed the wrong baby…”

Here is an atrocity that should appall everyone who hears it. Apparently, a doctor performed a “selective reduction” procedure, but accidentally killed the healthy twin instead of the one marked for Downs Syndrome. As Albert Mohler asks, “What is the real scandal here — that this doctor was ready to kill a baby with Down syndrome, or merely that he aborted ‘the wrong baby?'” Furthermore, what does this say about the view of life (and death) and the selectivity we assume to have for our own children here in America?
